Middle/Senior Python Developer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Middle/Senior Python Developer with expertise in API development to join our team. As a Python Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable APIs that power our applications and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality APIs that meet business requirements and ensure seamless integration with various systems.

• Design, develop, and implement RESTful APIs using Python and related frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and product owners to understand and refine API requirements.
• Ensure the security and authentication of APIs, implementing best practices for data protection.
• Optimize API performance and scalability, identifying and resolving bottlenecks for efficient data retrieval and processing.
• Conduct thorough testing of APIs, including unit testing and integration testing, to ensure reliability and robustness.
• Document APIs thoroughly, providing clear and concise explanations of endpoints, request/response formats, and authentication methods.
• Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues, working closely with cross-functional teams to address any reported problems promptly.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in API development and recommend improvements to existing APIs.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy and maintain APIs in a cloud-based environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Python Developer, with a strong focus on API development, Python programming concepts and best practices.
• In-depth understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in Python and related frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Experience with database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB and integrating them with APIs.
• Familiarity with authentication methods, token-based authentication, and OAuth protocols.
• Solid understanding of web technologies such as HTTP, JSON, and XML.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize and troubleshoot complex API interactions.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
• Must have strong English verbal and written communication.
